How did we fall so far apart, how did we get back home?
How did we close our ears and our eyes, and how did we open ourselves back up?
How did we let others in, and push ourselves out?
How come the background noise is so deafening and the sound of your voice so faint?
How did we choose one road and whind up in this alley?
We were supposed to walk together, we were suposed to hang on tight.
We were supposed to meet in the middle to make things alright.
When I am lost and cold and lonely, and the outside is so wide you were supposed to come and hold me and be my guide.
I guess it doesnt matter how, but we always seem to make it back home.
I guess it doesnt matter if sometimes we fight, argue and cry, as long as we dry our eyes.
I guess it doesn't matter the who, what-when-where or why, it just matters that I have you by my side.
I guess it isn't important if others think I'm wrong, as long as at the end of the night we are right where we belong.
Beautiful song with funny clips of the office!haha
