Sofie's brother and big sister came to visit last Saturday. Sofie LOVES them. Maybe a little tooooo much, its sorta suffocating. As soon as her brother Casey got here he peed on her new pink blanket. Such a stinker he is. Just like a brother to go an ruin your new blanky. So we washed it of course, and now Sofie is smelling it as she lays on it. Hmmmm, I think she just caught a whiff.
Brothers, Ugh.

Wedding Songs
Ahhh, Weddings... Its coming on that time of year again, when brides scratch and scram to finish planning their weddings in time for the season, which begins in may or june around here. I was one of these women last year, and while I wish Steve and I could somehow be transported back into our bodies on our wedding day, I do NOT miss the planning...At All!
Since my wedding video isn't done yet, I can still pick some of the songs I want in it. I have been collecting a wonderful amount of "weddingish songs". These are some of the soundtracks and songs I reccomend, for wedding videos. BTW, in my opinion, no one, and I mean NOONE, gets classier than Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, or Tony Bennett, for wedding songs! Michael Bubble is good too, and I like some country songs and some Oldies, but for a classic video, that will stand the test of time. Dean, Frank and Tony do it best.
My Best Friends Wedding Soundtrack
2. Wishin' And Hopin' - Ani DiFranco
7.The Way You Look Tonight - Tony Bennett
Ultimate Wedding Songs
2. On Bended Knee - Boyz II Men
11. At Last - Etta James
18. Unforgettable - Nat King Cole
You've Got Mail Soundtrack
9. Signed Sealed Delivered I'm Yours - Stevie Wonder
15. You Made Me Love You - Jimmy Durante
Sweet Home Alabama
6. Keep Your Hands To Yourself - The Calling
11. Marry Me - Dolly Parton
Dino: The Essential Dean Martin
1. Ain't That A Kick In The Head
2. That's Amore
3. Memories Are Made Of This
14. You Belong To Me
How To Lose a Guy In 10 Days
1. Somebody Like You - Keith Urban
3. Feels Like Home - Chantal Kreviazuk

Waiting
I am still waiting for my books from Amazon. Doesn't it seem like a long wait? And I just tracked it and it is coming DHL...what the f*&k! Nothing comes DHL. Is amazon hard up or something. God, it is taking forever. It better come today. Free Super Saver Shipping is a scam. It used to be quick and awesome and now its like they sit on the order for 3 days, then comes the weekend and then it ships out by the worst carrier ever. Seriously...
But I digress. In other news, I did get my hair cut, short and I love it. Its not suuuper short but I shed all that extra 07 weight and feel like I am about 2 years younger, like as in before our engagement and wedding. Weddings really stress you out. They add years to your face, make you hate people who you never had any problem with before, turn you into an aggressive, take no bullshit broad, and then leave you to somehow regain your composure by the time you march up the aisle and smile for the camera. So 07 has a lot of happiness and a lot of grittiness associated with it, so I cut my hair off and feel like I am embarking on a new life.
Now I got to get my fat ass on the damn treadmill. 4-sure!

Installing A Husband
Dear Tech Support,
Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a
distinct slow down in overall system performance -- particularly in the
flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend
5.0.
In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as
Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable
programs such as NFL 5.0, NBA 3.0, and Golf Clubs 4.1.
Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the
system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no
avail.
What can I do?
Signed,
Desperate
-------------------------------------
Dear Desperate:
First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband
1.0 is an Operating System. Please enter the command: "I Thought You Loved
Me.exe" and try to download Tears 6.2 and don't forget to install the Guilt
3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then
automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.
But remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to
default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Beer 6.1 is a
very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta.
Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the
background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources).
Also, do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are
unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0
In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory
and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying
additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Food 3.0
and Hot Lingerie 7.7.
Good Luck,
Tech Support

Bon Jovi
Love this song. I'm thinking of having my sister set our wedding video credits to this song. It would make such a great ending.
Rainy night and the worked all day
We both got jobs caus theres bills to play
We got something they cant take away
Our love, our lives
Close the door, leave the cold outside
I dont need nothing when Im by your side
We got something thatll never die
Our dreams, our pride
My heart beats like a drum (all night)
Flesh to flesh, one to one (and its alright)
And Ill never let go cause
Theres something I know deep inside
You were born to be my baby
And baby, I was made to be your man
We got something to believe in
Even if we dont know where we stand
Only God would know the reasons
But I bet he must have had a plan
Cause you were born to be my baby
And baby, I was made to be your man
Light a candle, blow the world away
Table for two on a tv tray
It aint fancy, baby thats ok
Our time, our way
So hold me close better hand on tight
Buckle up, baby, its a bumpy ride
Were two kids hitching down the road of life
Our world, our flight
If we stand side by side (all night)
Theres a chance well get by (and its alright)
And Ill know that youll be live
In my heart till the day I die
Cause you were born to be my baby
And baby, I was made to be your man
We got something to believe in
Even if we dont know where we stand
Only God would know the reasons
But I bet he must have had a plan
Cause you were born to be my baby
And baby, I was made to be your man
Solo
My heart beats like a drum (all night)
Flesh to flesh, one to one (and its alright)
And Ill never let go cause
Theres something I know deep inside
Cause you were born to be my baby
And baby, I was made to be your man
We got something to believe in
Even if we dont know where we stand
Only God would know the reasons
But I bet he must have had a plan
Cause you were born to be my baby
And baby, I was made to be your man
You were born to be my baby
And baby, I was made to be your man

Red Envelope has a new option for keeping track of your doggie if they run off on you. {not that I would know anything about that}. It is a USB ID Drive that the dog wears around its neck.

Hair Cut Ideas
I am getting my cut on Sat and I can't be more excited about it. I need to cut off all this extra weight that I have been carrying around with me. I need to shed the old, ring in the new and get excited about my life again. Get and keep my mind in shape and my body toned up. Got lots I want to do, I hope I can do it this year.
I like her bob, I would like to do something like it with out the curls though. My hair just doesn't do that.
Oh 8!
Okay, 2007 is over! Whew, it was a close one. What a crazy year, it started off with a second surgery the day after Valentines day, which totally killed my feb and part of march wedding planning, then at the end of April my bridal shower, a trip to NJ in May and then my bachelorette party in the beginning of June, and then the craziness that finally led to our wedding at the end of june, which quickly rolled into the 4th of July, and then our honeymoon cruise and my 28th birthday, the end of July we got our little baby Sofie and Steve's birthday in August, we moved all my stuff in in September and attempted to get the house in order, by then Halloween came, thanksgiving flew by and the Christmas shopping, decorating and celebrating, ending with a tumultuous new years to conclude. So I sit here and type, hoping the blizard outside that welcomed 2008 dies down so that I can go to the grocery store and buy some Pork.
Welcome 2008, I hope its a little calmer than 2007 {in a good way}.
Eat Pork and Prosper, Eat Chicken and Scratch in the new year. Happy New Year everyone!
